A Story from Light

My surname is Şavkın.
Şavk means the reflection of light.

Perhaps it was fate, or maybe a call that always lived within me;
years later, I found myself holding a camera, following the trace of light.

To me, photography is not just an image confined to a frame — it is the moment where light meets emotion.
In the quiet breath of a morning landscape, in the gaze of a stranger, or in the hum of a crowded city —

I seek the same thing each time: the story of light.
I began as an amateur, yet I left a piece of myself in every frame.
Maybe that’s why my photographs are more than technique — they are reflections of feeling, of a look, of a moment.

I come from light, and I follow light.
And every photograph is a silent witness to this journey.
